Hello!

Happy Monday I guess...:) So the swap (click it!) has brought  little interest. Wish I had more time to promote. Can anyone recommend a good site? Twitter seems largely uninterested and I deleted my facebook last week or the week before, don't remember.

I did add another item today and some stuff to my wish list. I WILL some day make this dress:

Just need the proper fabric which was added to my wish list.

I'm nearly done with this huge order for the parks district and I'll be making myself some thing this week. I know it probably sounds incredibly dorky but that fact that I haven't sewn in about 2 months has really been hard. I feel like I lost my best friend or something. I can't wait to get back into it. I already know what I'm going to make. *happy dance*

School is going well. My externship is around the corner. After that things are going to be hectic for a while until I settle into a routine. Actually, knowing me it's going to be more than a while! So until then I've got this swap and I'm going to add another swap for sewing related things. I have a good amount of fabric that I know I wont use. I used to buy fabric for the shop in 10 yard increments so I have a good amount of leftovers and I can only make myself and Nic so many things with the same print. Syndelle will not willingly wear a dress or anything even remotely girly except on special occasions or when my mother-in-law makes her. I also have a ton of vintage patterns from my early days of sewing when I went pattern crazy and wanted everything. And scraps, well they are taking over the house. I kid you not. So I'll be starting a new swap soon. Does anyone out there have a swap going? I've looked but have not found much.

  1. I haven't found much, after you brought this up I did a search thinking it would be a good way to find use for the fabrics laying in my stash I know will never be used, but I didn't really find an easy website or anything like that with swaps going on.... Would be neat to find one that made this sort of thing easy! Kind of like ebay where you have listing and such but could reply back with you "bid" (swap item) to be approved. That would be cool! I know I could donate some of these fabrics but I always feel sort of guilty that I wasted money.

  2. I did find a similar site but it was strictly for clothing. I'm the worst with buying fabric. I fall in love with prints and pick them up and they just sit forever because I don't have time...

You could start you own swap!
