So it's my birthday. I actually almost forgot. That's what happens when you get old! When I was little you could always count on one of my cousins to sing the above phrase along with the Happy Birthday song. Charming right? But all in good fun.
So I decided that I am going to make some things to sell on Etsy. I relisted some of the things that were in my shop last year and guess what? I already sold something.
I forgot how good that feels. No wonder I kept trying for so long. Those few sales...well it's obviously not just making money because let me tell you it's not much. It's more than that. Something I have trouble putting into words. A sort of validation that affects me like nothing else I've done in my life. Doing well in school or getting academic awards or even the scholarship I won never inspired the feelings that a single sale of one of my pieces does. Stupid right? But either way I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket. Just something to do until I get licensed and find something in a pharmacy.
Speaking of which I got my scores from the PTCE. I got 877 out of 900. Not bad. :) Of course I was hoping for the perfect score. I wonder how often that happens? Anyway I'd better get to work I just drafted 2 new patterns for reversible pieces and I need to make some samples.
Oh yeah and pictures of my recent projects are soon to come. I've made a bunch of stuff this last month.
